Expander - This utility will decompress (or unstuff)
the vast majority of compression methods including .sit,

(see below). By itself, it deals with StuffIt (.sit) and
Compact Pro (.cpt) archives, MacBinary (.bin) files, and
BinHex (.hqx) files....

Stuff w/ Expander Enhancer - This utility will let
you compress files in a variety of formats, and the
combination of StuffIt Expander with Expander Enhanceris
able to decompress files that were compressed on Unix
systems and IBM-PCs and compatibles, including ZIP
(.zip), and ARC (.arc) archives; AppleLink (.pkg)
packages; gzip (.gz), Unix Compress (.Z), UUencoded
(.uu), and StuffIt SpaceSaver files....
