It sure is cold at 4 AM

So you want to go to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta?

It is an event worth seeing. You decide to go to Albuquerque with John and Raman. The only problem is, John lives in Los Alamos and you have to get up at 4 AM to drive there. There are no hotel rooms left, and this is your only option. At least you don't have to do the driving yourself.

Everyone meets on time and you arrive in Albuquerque at 5:45 AM. John knows the secret of taking the access road instead of trying to take the Alameda exit. They say they are going to build a new balloon park some day, but for now it is best to avoid the inevitable traffic.

You park reasonably near the park and walk over to watch the balloons. Raman wore a warm jacket, but he only wore shorts today. It is a good thing you listened to John about how cold it gets here in the morning. After paying your $3 admission, you buy a hot coffee and watch the balloons start to rise.
