A Treacherous Peak

Ray and Patricia tire from the hike, but John's friend Raman shows up to continue on with you. Raman points out that there are 65 miles of maintained trails here at Bandelier. You check at the Visitor's Center and decide to take a hike down to the Rio Grande and back. The trailhead is at the East end of the parking area. You follow the trail which leads you past strange rock formations and down into a canyon. You pass the Upper Falls, and hike down to the Lower Falls with a treacherous peak rising across the canyon from you.
