The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum The metro takes you back to the National Mall, where you meet up with John's friends Raman and Carl. They have been nice enough to stand in line for tickets to the Holocaust Museum. The museum is located next to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. It is a somber and moving memorial to the story of the Holocaust through artifacts, films, photographs and oral history. You spend three hours walking through the exhibts. Simple exhibits, like this room filled with photographs seem to effect you the most. Just to get a feeling for the real people who were lost in the Holocaust is deeply moving.
