In an effort to show the "execs" in Hollywood that fans will not forget about
Earth2, a fundraising effort has begun for a Skyad. A plane will circle around
the building where the Emmy Awards will occur for 2 hours pulling a message
that shows support for the Emmy nominated E2. The Hollywood media is sure to notice
this and will give it some press. Hopefully some "execs" will also take note
of the action.
If you want to make a pledge or have any questions, please contact Mary Brick at
maryb@pacific.mitre.org with the amount you want to pledge, your real name
(first and last), and your e-mail address.
She has received $340 in pledges as of July 27, at 2:30pm EDT. I believe the total cost is
a minimum of $550.
Follow-up: On Aug 1st enough money had been raised to have the
ad fly around on Emmy evening. Way to go!
