Thanks to all of you in support of E2!

I am a strong E2 supporter and was very upset when NBC actually cancelledthe program. I will help in any way I can to get the show back on the air. Ihave started this web page in an effort to get a list of supporters that willeventually get to the upper levels of NBC executives (I hope).
d-pusateri@ti.comDavid Pusateri
It was much better than some of the inane comedies which proliferate the networks. I vote that it be brought back. If it gets on UPN, maybe it can be played a couple of times a week like the Star Trek shows. I like the option to see it on different days so that my life doesn't end up wrapped around TV. They should also consider a radio version. Bring it back. E2 is cool. Dave P.

Earth2 is one of the best shows on television. It has characters that make you want to get involved with them, and the plots are engrossing. It would be idiocy for this show to die.
langsta@cc.umanitoba.caPhilip D. Squire
I think the show has great alternative SciFi story lines and people would really watch if it had a regular time slot It makes it hard to tune in without a time slot!!!!
regina@netcom.comGina di Gualco
I think it's the most realistic and thought-provoking science fiction show on television.
mickiew@ix.netcom.comMichelle Walsh
Best show this season this side of X-Files. Involvong storyline that kept me coming back every week. Male and female characters operated on equal footing with strenght and weakness. NBC really screwed up this time. Not many TV shows have characters whose appearance reflects their situation on a progressive level--hair, clothing, spirit, etc.
cltraxler@ccstat.mc.duke.eduLynn S. K. Traxler
I have really enjoyed E2 this season. I am sick to death of the Star Trek Universe and thought that E2 had tremendous potential to broaden the science fiction options on tv. The writing was excellent and the character development was well done. It did bother me that I never knew for sure when E2 would actually be on and that I never heard of it until I tuned in by chance one night. NBC really screwed up with this show. It bothers me that good entertaining shows like E2 are cancelled and junk like Full House and that Erkel show won't go away.
jjohnson@lanl.govJohn D. Johnson
Just the best darn Sci-Fi show on TV today! I am very disapointed that such a great show has to be cancelled because the network executives feel they have to apeal to an audience that can't handle real plot development!
tracym@conline.comTracy McDonald
One of the best shows I've ever seen. No mater what time or day or network it comes on, there is no way I would miss it. It must not die.
wheaton@sygma.netRobert A. Wheaton
With all the "crap" on TV today, I just can't fathom why NBC would pull the plug on such an entertaining, and thought provoking show as Earth2. It had excellent plot lines, very plausible for a science fiction show and great character development. I couldn't wait for the week to go by, so I could see the next episode. Overall, NBC's treatment of Earth2 was very shoddy...maybe another network could do it more justice! In any event, NBC has lost my vote of confidence and I'm going to have to treat them the same way I'm treating Major League Baseball, that is, not patronizing the product or the sponsers. ...Bob
martink@crd.ge.comKen Martin
I only watch three shows a week and Earth 2 was one of them. If your advertisers want to affect my purchases that's NBC's only chance. Once Earth 2 goes off the air those advertisers will have to reach me on another network.
alpowell@u.washington.eduandrea powell
One of the best shows on tv today. I cannot believe that nbc would consider cancelling this show when stupid sitcoms like the simpsons just woun't die...either they have a bunch of idiots working in there programming department or they just don't know a good thing when they see it. It obviously takes an intellegent person to appreciate this show and nbc just doesn't have any.

It's my favorite show because of the good combination of characters, story line, and science fiction. I think it needs to be in a better time slot than on Sundays at 7 pm.

seifert@cc.umanitoba.caMichael Seifert
I think that Earth 2 is the best show to air on network TV this year, and the people at NBC should have had the wisdom to renew it and topromote it more than they did.
crystals@postoffice.ptd.netCrystal A. Snook
E2 was one of the few shows I considered entertaining enough to actually sit down and watch on a regular basis. E2 is a show that has a lot of potential for future storylines. I simply cannot believe they've cancelled it. They've barely scratched the surface of what they can do with the characters.
chalkbd@q.continuum.netEdward
Love the show, feel it has a real plazce in the Sci-Fi community. HATE the fact that stupid, inane, insipid, meaningless, mind numbing SPORTS have pre-empted it so much that people never know when to watch it. Many times I thought that I taped the show only to sit down with a big bowl of popcorn only to see sports. Yuk. This show MUST survive and or be picked up imediately before the cast move on to other contracts. Ed
mleair@oucsace.cs.ohiou.eduMark Leair
It was a great show. Not your typical sci-fi show. I especiallyliked the cyberpunk influences. The idea of the Council and the spacestations, in my opinion, painted a much more realistic and eerie picture of the human fate than the other tv sci-fi shows. Importantly, it was a drama not just one big adventure from week to week...
tbuttles@student.champlain.eduTracy Buttles
I think E2 is great. My family watches it every week, twice a week (American and Canadian tv).
jbuster@epin.ab.umd.eduJerlyn Buster
Earth2 by far is one of the most original shows on TV today. Although I am a true StarTrek fan, I count Earth2 just as high. I have not been disappointed in any episode that I have seen. My only disappointed stems from the fact that it seems to be the kicking boy of the network, which will cancel it constantly. The show is not the problem. How can it high ratings be expected if people never know when it is going to be shown?! I think we will find that Earth2 has quite a following, which would grow if the network stops messing around with it.
peter_auseklis@ccm.hf.intel.comPeter Auseklis
I enjoy it very much. In fact, it is the only show broadcast by one of the three major networks (NBC, CBS, and ABC) that I even watch. The show is intelligently written, well acted, and beautifully photo- graphed. It doesn't pander to the lowest common denominator of the television viewing audience. NBC should seriously re-examine their decision to cancel the program. If they are relying on an antiquated system like Nielsen ratings to guage Earth 2's popularity, they should start looking around on the Internet. They'd be surprised to find out how much real support intelligent programming like Earth 2 has.
mchoquet@conan.ids.netMarc Choquette
Great show, one of the few I actually look forward to watching on a regular basis. It didn't rely on mega special effects of orchestrated fight scenes to be entertaining.

I really like the show. Yes, it has weaknesses, but no worse than the current Star Treks or Seaquest. The only SF show better than Earth 2, IMHO, is Babylon 5.
nelson@msupa.pa.msu.eduCarl D. Nelson
I love it! why is it being canceled??
ftmexpat@best.comFrank McNeil
What do I think? It seems like anything I say would be understated. I think UPN should buy the rights to it, so I can watch "Earth 2" reruns twice a week. //Note: I've linked to this forms address to my "Earth 2" related //site at Earth2 HomePage //Hopefully many "Earth 2" Fans will write Raman's "Earth 2" Wall.
seifert@cc.umanitoba.caElizabeth Seifert
I really like Earth 2, and I don't think that it should have beencancelled. At least three other kids in my Grade 7 class also enjoyEarth 2, and the cancellation of this show makes us angry.
ri5@psu.eduDiane Southard
I think E2 is a fantastic show and much better than some of the ridiculous programs that seem to hang on through the years. E2 has attractive characters, great plots and believable stories. It's only downfall is the crappy time slot it's in, either being booted off because of football games or basketball games. It's irritating and I have really been pissed. We even missed the season finale because of some damn sports game! Let's do what we can to bring E2 back and put it on a decent time slot!
janet@burgoyne.comJanet Hood
E2 is a great series. I hope that they don't cancel it. It has a lot of potential.
bucky@usa1.comNeil Harding
Earth2 is great!!! I don't know what NBC is thinking! I have seen every single episode and loved every one of them! NBC is getting rid of E2 yet they keep stupid shows like Dateline.
gsargent@iquest.netGreg Sargent
In this day of carbon copied TV programing it is a real joy to watch a show like Earth2. I don't understand why Television is so afraid to go against the "Winning Formula" for TV shows. Earth2 is a very thought provoking and well crafted show. UPN should pick this show up and run with it. Obviously NBC is to narrow minded to realize that any show that pushes the boundaries of the normal comatose programing is a real winner!
crigler@sol.cms.uncwil.eduNed T. Crigler
Earth 2 is the only show that I really enjoy. NBC is stupid for cancelling a fine show.

E2 is by far one of the finest SiFi programs ever produced. Story lines, character development and cinematography are at the top of television production. It would be a perfect complement to UPN programming.

Earth 2 is a truly wonderful show. It's one of the few shows I make sure never to miss. I have been a die hard Sci Fi fan for 15 years and I have seen Sci Fi shows come and go (mostly go, unfortunately). Earth 2 ranks right up there among my favorites. Earth 2 has to survive ! We must show that a great Sci Fi show can survive without all that boring techno-babble, we getting so much of. Say yes to great characters and interesting storylines. Say yes to a story that evolve from week to week. Say yes to Earth 2 !.

E2 Rocks. IMHO, e2 far exceeds all the ST: flicks that I have loved for years -- and that is no small feat. UPN will be god's gift to television if they purchase E2! ...Long live Bess! ;)
dazuma@cco.caltech.eduDaniel Azuma
Clearly one of the strongest science fiction series ever realized, and I would even say one of the strongest television series of any kind. Very good writing, multi-dimensional characters, and a sense of intelligence that has been sadly lacking in many of the other entrants into the genre. I would hate to see it die.
pamelaw@mit.eduPamela Woronoff
I enjoy the show. I think it's very original and unlike other "star trek" type shows. I hope that it stays on the air.
kyle@hpvidjt.vid.hp.comKyle Karnosh
Great show that desires a chance to be as success
pmessinepier messineo
I think it is one of the best series to be brought to tv in a longtime. I also agree with other fans that say the reason for itslack of popularity is the time slot it has been put in.I truely hope and pray that this show can be saved..
Richard_Hudak@crd.lotus.comRichard Hudak
Earth2 is well-written, well-acted, realistic science fiction. These folks don't warp across the galaxy and have the gig figured out in one hour. Earth2 is gnarly! The difference between Earth2 and Star Trek: Voyager is the difference between technical singletrack (mountain biking) and a ride in a limo. "This is a story about second chances." Let's give it one.
pthirose@engr.ucdavis.eduPaul T Hirose
What can I say...like the show, and watch it. Hope it continues.
m.nielsen@ieee.orgMary Lynne Nielsen
One of the most different and innovative fantasy/sf shows created. It needs a chance to build the audience it can and should find. The viewers are loyal to the show and fascinated by its continuing story line. I strongly hope (as does my husband) that this show can return to the air.
newman@maine.maine.eduBryan Newman
great show. I hope that it isn't cancelled. A far superior show to Seaquest.
syntax@oro.netMaya Kaathryn Bohnhoff
It's gosh! wow! sense of wonder! science fiction. I love the castand its chemistry, I love the fact that there isn't an overabundanceof hardware, the stories are about warmware, and the aliens don'tspeak English. And Gharlane of Eddore is right about one thing -- I wouldn't mindwriting a treatment for the show. It's not perfect -- nothing is perfect save God -- but it's ashow definitely worth saving and I'm frankly surprised NBC hasn'ttried a little harder.

My favorite show on TV. The only alternative (aside from Star Trek: Voyager) to DULL Doctors, Lawyers and Cops TV shows

E2 is one of only 2 shows that I regularly watch. I've looked forward to a relaxing Sunday night since the first episode, and will really miss the show now that it's been cancelled. Somebody please pick up this truly entertaining and high-quality show!

I think E2 is the best show on television. Just don't understand how a great show like E2 could be canceled. Wish they would have put it in a better time slot.
tjwv67c@prodigy.comMirra Ing
There's only a few sci-fic shows I watch every week, and Earth 2 is one of them. I simply can't understand how NBC have the nerve to cancel one of the better sci-fic shows out there in tv land. Sure it didn't get good ratings but whose fault is that? Definitely not the viewers. UPN please save our show from extinction.
knm@primenet.comKim Noel Martinson
I would rather watch E2 than ST:Voyager! E2 is more believable. We should not depend on NBC to save this show. It should be on FOX or UPN or the SCI-FI Channel.
mugs@deltanet.comRene'e
My husband and I love it.When we started watching it Lloyd put speakers in our bedroom for surround sound. I can't believe they would pick up Sea Quest and not Earth2. Others at work want to see it back. Can I fill out forms for them with my e-mail address? I'm new in cyber space.

I stopped watching network (ABC, CBS, NBC) tv years ago because, quite frankly, the "Big 3" had nothing of value to watch. A friend told me about EARTH 2, so I tuned in one Sunday evening. I was impressed. I was hooked. So I'd rush home every Sunday evening to catch the show only to find it preempted by STUPID BASKETBALL!!!! I couldn't believe the way NBC treated the only decent piece they've aired in years. And then to keep that silly underwater kiddie show instead! Sheesh!!! Actually I'm glad NBC dropped the show. Maybe now a smaller, more intelligent network will pick it up and give it the respect it's due, starting with a decent ADULT time slot EVERY week (more would be nicer).

dingold@cybernetics.netDale Ingold
I think Earth 2 is a great, innovative science fiction (in the truest sense of the word, not the so-called sci-fi that passes in most TV shows). I enjoy watching the characters grow and develop, as much as if not more than all the hardware issues.
