E2 was the only program on TV that I watched. I am very upset that it has been cancled. I guess that this just proves my point about TV in general. E2 was a show that the whole family loved. We never strayed to far on a Sunday - just incase we would happened to miss an episode. The worst part of the cancellation is that we were all left hanging. The least they could of done is give us some closure.

This was a great show. I loved to watch this show, and never missed it no matter what. I was sadden to find out it wasn't coming back on. I see alot more shows, that shouldn't be on the air. I think this show, was way ahead of its time, with interesting episodes. I hope that they do reconsider this show. I love the X-Files just as much. Let me know what else I can do. They should bring this show back, and get rid of some of those demeaning talkshows. It seem very satisfying to know other feel the way I do.

I think E2 was a GREAT show with a lot of promise. The writers built in enough mystery to last the show for a LONG time! It would be nice if NBC would give it one more season to help find its roots. (Perhaps place it in a slot that wouldn't overlap the beginning of the show with football)

I have to state, as many others have, that Earth2 was one of the best television shows I've ever seen. The premise was clever and wholly engaging. After the pilot episode, I tuned in EVERY week to catch the Eden party's next adventure. On the weeks the show was pre-empted (for sometimes ridiculous reasons) I clenched my teeth and vowed to try again the next week. I enjoyed the stories and the characters and was continually impressed with the vision of the show and the quality of the writing. I was devastated when NBC finally cancelled it, but not entirely surprised. I will be at New Pacificon '96, I will continue to write letters to those who can help bring the show back, and I will hope along with all of you that somebody somewhere will come to their senses and bring this great, positive, intelligent show back to the airwaves...

I truly enjoyed the program. I think one of the problems with the show stemed from NBC's inability to provide a continuous weekly stream of episodes without having it preempted by another show or the "Dorky" SF/ST-TNG Wanna be Under-Sea SF program That really lost touch with reality and delved into the realm of major computer generated images. For small children, this might be good for a short time but the attention span of an adult "for poorly done and unrealistic" graphics tends to be short. Anyways, IMHO I think the show was good... started out a little slow but got interesting as time went on. Maybe a little too much of the Currie (?) Character. In Short... PLEASE BRING IT BACK... I think E2 is the cleanest show or rather was the cleanest mote interesting show. There was not a lot of nudity or sex. It was good for kids to watch. I reaily wish the producers would bring it back. It also had my favorite actor, Clancy Brown. I don't see much of him now. What has happened to him? Where is he? Is he in another series on is he in a new movie? I reaily would like to know. I am behind E2 all the way.

Today is 4/8/96 this is the first I have heard of an effort to save E2..I thought the show was original,and well written but most of all I thought it was belivable. Good luck if this is not already not too late.

E2 Is one of the best modern sci-fi shows to come out of america lately, other than ST Voyager of course. In Australia we have beeen waiting for E2 to come back on and I only just found out about it being axed. NBC should get their act into gear, E2 was rating reaily well in OZ from all reports.

I LOVED the program. It was a high quality scifi and there are too few of them. Many times,people who don't like scifi have been exposed to a poor quality product with improbable situations and creatures. Is the problem with the continuation of quality scifi that there are too few fans to keep them on the air? I am distressed to see good scifi replaced by silly programs with even sillier MC's. By the way, I am also concerned about the continuation of "Space: Above and Beyond".

Earth 2 was screened on Sky One (Satellite Channel) before and after Christmas `95. It has been a number of weeks since I saw the final episode and I still miss it!! I was extremely disappointed when I found out that it was the one and only series of the show and I still cannot understand why the 'plug was pulled'. I am amd will remain a firm fan of Earth 2.

It has been some time since I posted my original thoughts about E2 so I thought I'd write again. Earth 2 was (and continues to be in spite of it's cancellation) one of the best shows ever to be on TV. I recently attended the Earth 2 convention and had the opportunity to meet many fans, cast, and crew of the show. It was amazing! After meeting the cast and crew in attendance, it was no wonder that the show was so good....they were wonderful! It was obvious that they loved the show, loved working on it, and loved working together. It's quite a testament to a show when the cast and crew still feel so strongly about a show that's been gone for a year. We must continue our efforts to bring back Earth 2.....it's well worth fighting for.

i never got the opputunity to watch t.v. very much, however, i would always make an exception for this show. it seemed that it was was one of the more thought out and interesting shows. the characters seemed very real. i was actually very upset when they decided not to let it continue.

I was outraged that they cancelled it. I loved the show - the concept was terrific. However, the way they ended it gives me hope that maybe it will return. I hope we can do it. I thought E2 was a very origional show. The concept was imagionative and entertaining. I thought it on par with Star Trek Next Gen. I was sorely disappointed when it was cancelled. At first I thought Earth 2 got off to a slow start, but near the end I really started to get into it. I know many people who enjoyed Earth 2 also. I was sad whent the show was canceled, it was one of the best shows on TV. The fact that there is a "Save Earth 2" page proves that many people care about the show.

While I had some problems with the basic storyline of the show (I thought the "living planet" stuff was a bit drippy), I nonetheless enjoyed watching the show. It is one of the few science-fiction TV shows that actually tried to do some actual "science fiction", i.e., it tried to speculate about what might happen if the laws of science were a little different. I also liked the fact that the show was about ordinary people who were just trying to get along and survive in a difficult situation. Most space science fiction TV seems to be about military organi- zations of one sort or another. In general, it was an example of what J. Micheal Straczinski (sp?) of Babylon-5 calls "adult science fiction". I was a regular watcher of the show, and would be again if it was renewed in pretty much the same form. I think that E2 was about the poorest excuse for a show to ever grace the airways and the reason it was not renewed is because it was so awful noone bothered to watch it. The storyline was poor, bad acting, no character development, I just never could get involved in it or really cared what happen to any of the characters and was actually felt sorry for the actors who were stuck in it. It was about as bad as "Lost in Space", actually itwas worse as it did not have the humor. Almost anything on the networks and everything on syndication is a better show then E2 was, I hope that common sense prevails and the networks never do renew E2, it had it chance and could not compete so let it rest in peace. "Space Above and Beyond" is what a sci-fi show should be not "Little House in Space "

Today is Monday 8 July 1996. Just found your site. (Actually just thought of looking!) I have missed Earth 2 since it went off the air. Truly great program, interesting characters, good story line (and getting better). I (baby boomer) loved it. I introduced my Mom (60 ) and she loved it. She won't bother with most Sci-Fi. This was a true intergenerational family program. Lack of promotion and a really screwy broadcast schedule made it difficult to keep up, but boy did I try. I agree - bring it back. Although I didn't start watching Earth2 until it had been on the air for a few weeks, I quickly became hooked on the show. Contrary to many of the "shoot-em-up" variety sci-fi shows on the air, Earth2 is a show with real substance and a great storyline. The characters were real--not just good guys and bad guys, but real people with real human traits. The aliens on the show are also cultured characters, not just monsters and clowns like I have seen in many shows and movies. I miss the show and would love to see it back on the air.

Nice site with lots of info. I would like to see right on top of the front page a link to a petition that would request one of the four major networks to pick up the show. It does seem however that Fox and ABC are the most "science fiction friendly" networks. Once a month you could do a batch upload to their program dept with all of the signatures on it. This approach worked for me when trying to get local access to the internet for my county. mark

When it was canceled, I thought I was the only one who missed it, watching the tapes I diligently recorded, imagining all sorts of resolutions to "Devon's little situation". I think E2 was a great, great show. I rarely get excited about a TV show coming on, but with E2, I did. I've thought a lot about E2 since it was taken off the air (me searching for E2 over the net after more than a year is testimony). That is extremely rare. Anyway, I want E2 back!!!!

Earth 2 was the greatest sci fi ever. Its fantastic characterization allowed for an intimacy between the characters and the viewers the likes of which I have never seen, and likely will never see.

From this Summer, I began to watch E2 in Tokyo. This program is broadcasted very early morning (4:00AM) every Saturday. So my weekend starts with playing video.

E2 WAS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS THAT HAS BEEN ON TV IN AGES, I WOULD BE AT THE TV RIGHT ON THE DOT JUST TO WATCH IT AND ALWAYS TAPPED IT AND WHEN ONE WEEK IT JUST SUDDENLY STOPPED I WAS SO PISSED OFF I DIDNT WATCH SHOWS ON THAT CHANNEL FOR AGES!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))

I think that Earth 2 was an absolutly terrific program. What made so wonderful was it really gave the idea that, although humans aren't perfect we have many redeming qualities. It also portrayed aliens as very different from us. This made it clear that the producers thought that life and intelligence can take on many forms.

Like most first year shows E2 had some bugs to work out and some story lines that needed polishing. But E2 was a good show that had character and family values. I hated the way the network left us hanging at the end of the season. If there is a way to get the sci fi channel to show E2 you can add my name to any petition.

My wife and I loved the show. We would rush home every Sunday to watch it. It is a real shame that the show got cancelled. I think that the story line, humans inhabiting a new Earth was very interesting I would really love to see the show come. However, I am sure that will not happen. Thanks for providing and outlet for my frustration.
